14th HR National Conference: Advancing Leadership in the Era of People Analytics

The Rwanda Human Resources Management Organization (RHRMO) successfully hosted the 14th HR National Conference & Exhibition, held from 26–27 November 2025 at the Kigali Marriott Hotel. The conference brought together HR professionals, business leaders, policymakers, academics, and development partners for two impactful days of learning, dialogue, and collaboration.

Held under the theme “Leadership in the Era of People Analytics”, the conference focused on how data-driven leadership is transforming human resource management, organizational performance, and decision-making in today’s evolving workplace.

A Platform for Insightful Dialogue and Learning

The conference featured a rich program of keynote addresses, panel discussions, technical sessions, and a CEOs Roundtable, all designed to equip HR leaders with practical insights and future-ready skills. Speakers and panelists shared global and local perspectives on people analytics, strategic leadership, workforce transformation, employee experience, and the future of work.

Participants engaged in meaningful discussions on how organizations can leverage data responsibly to enhance talent management, improve productivity, and support evidence-based HR decisions while maintaining a people-centered approach.

CEOs Roundtable: Strategic Leadership in Focus

One of the highlights of the conference was the CEOs Roundtable on Leadership Commitments for Data-Driven Organizations, which convened senior executives to exchange experiences on leading organizations in a data-driven era. The session emphasized the role of top leadership in embedding analytics into organizational culture and aligning HR strategy with business goals.

The conference was expertly guided by dedicated moderators who ensured smooth transitions, engaging discussions, and active audience participation throughout all sessions. Their leadership contributed greatly to the high quality of conversations and the overall success of the event.

The 14th HR National Conference also marked an important milestone for RHRMO with the announcement of a strategic partnership with the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), the world’s largest HR professional association. This partnership reinforces RHRMO’s commitment to strengthening HR professionalism in Rwanda by expanding access to global expertise, research, and professional development opportunities for its members.
